What we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount of technical information automatically.

Get on the Board (application to be featured)	Name or creator/brand name, email, a link to your work, category, and the story you tell us about what you're building
Founding reservation / preorder forms	First and last name, email, phone (optional), city/state (optional), and what you're interested in
Nominate / Partners pages	Name and email, and whatever you write in the message field
Board comments and likes	The comment text you post, and a device-generated identifier used to prevent duplicate votes on the same entry (not tied to a name unless you include one in a comment)
Automatically, on any page	A randomly generated visitor identifier and session identifier, stored in your browser (localStorage/sessionStorage), used to keep track of things like whether you've already seen an entry or voted on it

Why we collect it

To review and respond to applications, reservations, and inquiries you submit
To display board content, comments, and engagement counts
To prevent duplicate submissions and duplicate votes
To follow up with you by email about something you submitted

We do not sell your personal information. We have not run advertising or analytics tracking beyond what's described above.

Who processes it

We use the following service providers to run this site. Each has its own privacy practices for the infrastructure it provides:

Supabase — database and backend for board content, comments, applications, and every form on this site, including the Founding Reservation form
Netlify — hosting

No payment processor is currently connected to this site. Reservations and preorders are not charged — every reservation form on this site says so.

Your choices

You can clear the visitor/session identifiers stored in your browser at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you've submitted to us directly, contact us using the email below and we'll respond.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. We don't currently ask for or verify age on any form.

Changes to this page

If what we collect or how we use it changes in a material way, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
